I am currently working as Lead Service and Interaction Designer at Barclays in a small design and innovation team, co-creating customer and colleague-facing products and initiatives with stakeholders across the bank.

My role led me to explore and communicate complex systems, plan and deliver user research, articulate directions and develop solutions while constantly advocating for user centricity. Not only have I learnt a lot about financial services and how people relate to them, but also about the implications of designing within a technology driven and corporate environment. I believe this has made me a better designer.

Amongst the few things I can talk about, I’ve been involved with Rise, the Barclays Open Innovation Program. There, I’ve been providing design-led mentoring and support to startups to facilitate collaboration with the bank; as well as bringing back some of this disruptive culture internally by delivering Innovation and Design-led workshops.
